Garage door locks, installed and rekeyed.
A garage has more doors than most people think about: the garage door itself, a side service door, and the door from the garage into the house. Lock Raven installs, repairs, and rekeys the locks on all of them, keys them to match your house key where the locks allow, and adds deadbolts or smart locks where a door needs more.
Which garage locks we work on
- Locks on the garage door itself, such as T-handle locks and side bolts on manual or rarely used doors.
- The side or service door into the garage, often a basic knob lock worth upgrading.
- The door from the garage into the house, which deserves the same deadbolt as your front door.
- Detached garages and sheds with keyed locks or hasps.
The door into the house matters most
If someone gets into the garage, the interior door is all that stands between them and the house, and it often has only a knob lock. A deadbolt with a reinforced strike, or a keypad or smart lock for the family's everyday entrance, closes that gap.
One key for the house and garage
Garage locks can be rekeyed to your house key when they share the same keyway. When they don't, we replace the odd cylinder so one key works everywhere.

Garage door locks: common questions.
Straight answers, without the upsell.
Can my garage locks match my house key?
Usually, yes. If the locks share a keyway they can be rekeyed to the same key; if not, we replace the cylinder that does not match.
Should the door from my garage into the house have a deadbolt?
Yes. It is an entry door into your home, so it deserves the same deadbolt and reinforced strike as your front door.
How much will it cost?
It depends on the hardware, the door, and the number of locks, so we price every job before any work starts. Call with the details, or send the quote form, and you will have a price before you commit to anything.
