High-security locks for your home.
High-security home locks resist picking and bumping and use restricted keys that cannot be copied at a hardware store. Lock Raven installs high-security cylinders and deadbolts from Medeco and Mul-T-Lock for homeowners who want more than a standard pin tumbler, often fitted into existing hardware.
Who benefits
- Homes where keys have been given to many people over the years.
- Rentals and in-law units where you want control over copies.
- Anyone who wants protection against picking and bump keys.
Lock plus door
A high-security cylinder is strongest on a solid door with a reinforced strike. We check the door and frame and recommend reinforcement where it matters.

High-security home locks: common questions.
Straight answers, without the upsell.
Can I get copies of a high-security key?
Yes, through an authorized locksmith, usually with an ID card or signature that proves you are the registered owner. That is the point: nobody else can copy it.
Do I have to replace my whole lock?
Not always. Many high-security cylinders retrofit into existing deadbolts and locksets.
How much will it cost?
It depends on the hardware, the door, and the number of locks, so we price every job before any work starts. Call with the details, or send the quote form, and you will have a price before you commit to anything.
